These book reviews are my own impressions of the books, I read for pleasure. Not only do I have a day job (for which I ironically need to read a lot too - just not classics) but I also run this blog only as a participant in a global book reader club.
Unless otherwise noted, books that are reviewed on The Oz Reader are owned, purchased or borrowed from the local library system in my neighbourhood. As can be seen elsewhere, as part of a "challenge" in the club, I plan to read a select list of books (see tab).
However, I am happy to provide my opinion on other books if anyone is interested and I have the time to read them after suggesting them to me. Feel free to email me if you have a book you think would be interesting to me.
I also encourage you to check out the reading challenges in which I participate, to give you an idea of the idea and process and - of course - what I'm reading currently.
